Private Equity Fulltime
The responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Support core portfolio management and risk management processes for the private equity team
- Support regular portfolio monitoring and risk meetings with senior stakeholders
- Support portfolio management and monitoring activities, including vehicle capacity planning, dealallocation decisions, management and monitoring of listed deals, and risk exposure monitoring
- Maintain and update core portfolio management files, systems, and dashboards
- Work with portfolio management systems, including eFront insights, investran, and Salesforce.support automation initiatives, with a focus on data validation/entry/reconciliation
- Prepare portfolio data to be used for analysis: liaise with investment deal teams as well as operationsteams and outsourced providers for data gathering, validation, and analysis
- Help design and build dashboards for investment teams and lC
- Produce market research, portfolio simulations and forecasts for clients, ic and senior management
- Produce insightful analysis (portfolio diagnostics) to improve investment decision-making
- Contribute to the private equity team's investment strategy and thought leadership work
- Manage regular workflows, ensuring deadlines are met for all periodic and ad-hoc tasks
- Adhere to the FCA's Conduct Rules, understanding that they set basic standards of good personaconduct
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Working closely with Private Equity investment team, Fund Accounting, Performance & AnalyticsPrivate Markets Risk, and Investor Relations teams
- Updating a range of periodic reports for internal purposes
- Supporting the preparation of regular portfolio monitoring and risk meetings, cient reporting, and adhoc portfolio analysis
- Preparing portfolio data to be used for analysis and support data maintenance in portfolio managementsystems
- Promoting a data- and systems-driven culture
【Requirements】
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
- Professional qualifications a plus, but not required
- Previous professional experience in the financial sector, in particular private markets, or relevantconsulting experience, would be an advantage, but not required
- Modelling - advanced user of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Salesforce, with a strong aptitude forlearning new IT systems
- Strong analytical skills with prowess for working with high volumes of numerical data and transformingthis into information helpful for decision making
- Report writing skills -including fluent command of business level English
- Enhanced organisational skills
- Experience at multi-tasking
